Silo Fasteners came into existence in February, 1990, when Gary Magers and Ron Garrett started the company with one machine and an unlimited amount of determination. Over the ensuing twenty-one years, Silo Fasteners added seventeen more cold heading machines at their Kansas City, MO location and became a reputable manufacturer of various styles and sizes of bolts for the concrete form and highway construction markets.

Acquired in February, 2011 by the Elgin Fastener Group, Silo Fasteners was relocated to Elgin’s Ohio Rod Products division in Versailles, IN, where the production of bolts, pins, and special rivets for Silo’s unique customer base continues today.
